What this app is

Zingo! is a self-custody wallet. You control your private keys. We cannot access your funds or shielded memos.

Data we collect

No account data: we don’t require a name, email, or phone number to create a wallet.

On-device keys: private keys, recovery phrases, and transaction notes remain on your device and are never sent to us.

Diagnostics (optional): if enabled, the app may send anonymized crash or performance data (e.g. app version, device model).

Support emails (user-initiated): if you write to support, we receive only the information you include, solely to respond.

Network & third parties

Blockchain & servers: to operate, the app connects to Zcash nodes and lightwallet servers (e.g. lightwalletd, zainod). These services see typical network metadata such as IP and timestamps, and are governed by their own policies.

Exchanges & services you choose to use: if you interact with third-party services, their terms and privacy policies apply.

Data sharing

We don’t sell or rent personal data. We share only to comply with the law, protect our rights and users, or at your explicit direction.

Retention

Diagnostics, if any, are retained only as long as needed for troubleshooting and service improvement. Support emails are kept only to resolve your case, unless the law requires longer retention.

Your choices

Use the app without analytics. Delete the app to remove on-device data. Keep your recovery phrase to restore elsewhere. Email us to delete support communications.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption and OS-level key storage. No method is 100% secure, so protect your device and recovery phrase.

Children

The app isn’t directed to children. Minimum-age rules in your country may apply.

Changes

We’ll update this policy as needed and post the new effective date here.
